Plant Maintenance Technician

Location: Arvada, Colorado, United States; on-site

Salary: $29–$39 per hour plus bonus; restricted stock units included in all offers.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues across manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Maintain high- and low-voltage power systems, motors, generators, control panels, wiring, sensors, utility systems, and building equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance through a CMMS, including inspections, parts purchasing, work instructions, and reliability improvements.
• Perform PLC, controls, circuit, fuse, breaker, and wiring diagnostics using schematics, manuals, and electrical testing equipment.
• Support equipment installations, system upgrades, and integration into a new production facility in collaboration with vendors, Engineering, and Operations.
• Maintain the Lockout/Tagout program, support regulatory compliance, and provide informal guidance to other maintenance technicians.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with high- and low-voltage electrical systems in manufacturing; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing and facility equipment, including rotating machinery, air compressors, utilities, and CNC machinery.
• Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes and proficiency with voltmeters, amp meters, and other diagnostic tools.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety-sensitive work environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues, work independently, collaborate with managers and vendors, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a background check and participate in the required drug and alcohol program for this safety-sensitive position.

Nice to have

• Experience using a CMMS, preferably UpKeep.
• Additional building-trades experience in carpentry, HVAC, or plumbing.
• Experience partnering with production and scheduling departments.
