Inventory Control Specialist (AI)

Location: Newark, California; 100% onsite at a data center. Travel to other data center locations may be required.

Salary: $65,000–$85,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Track servers, networking equipment, IT assets, hardware, and materials across the data center region.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution of IT materials.
• Conduct inventory audits and update records to maintain accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, Procurement, and Finance to allocate resources and optimize equipment utilization.
• Maintain documentation and provide inventory, shipment, and audit reports to management.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies while preventing recurring issues.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory management or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with asset management software.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a data center environment, move and lift heavy objects, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Must have work authorization that does not require company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel as needed for inventory management and audits.
