Manufacturing Lead (Robotics)

What you will do

• Design and optimize manufacturing processes, including assembly sequences and cycle-time improvements.
• Collaborate with design engineers to provide DFM/DFA feedback and drive design iterations.
• Develop fixtures, jigs, and tooling for novel processes to ensure build quality.
• Establish and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), build instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead the transition of robot designs from prototype to pilot production and full-scale manufacturing.
• Implement quality control systems, including inspection criteria and test protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, ideally in robotics, automotive, or aerospace.
• Experience with NPI is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, NX, or Onshape) and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, ERP/MRP systems, and ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Hands-on ability to build and troubleshoot electromechanical systems.
