About the Role

You will manage the monthly revenue close process and ensure revenue recognition complies with U.S. GAAP. You will prepare and review revenue and accounts-receivable journal entries and reconciliations, work with auditors and cross-functional partners, analyze variances, document processes, implement a bookings and revenue-recognition platform, and lead improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting
• ASC 606 experience
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience managing team members, including offshore resources
• Excel
• Data analysis
• NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management
• Automation tools including Alteryx and Snowflake

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly revenue close process and ensure revenue recognition complies with U.S. GAAP
• Serve as a key contact for external financial statement auditors on revenue matters
• Partner with Technical Accounting, Client Accounting, and Finance to refine revenue policies and operations
• Lead the preparation and review of revenue and accounts-receivable journal entries and balance-sheet reconciliations
• Help implement the bookings and revenue-recognition platform
• Analyze and present monthly variance analyses
• Build and maintain revenue accounting process documentation
• Support ad hoc revenue accounting questions and strategic initiatives
• Drive special projects and process improvements
