Manager, Revenue Accounting

Location: On-site in Denver, CO, US

Compensation: $115,000–$140,000 + Bonus + Restricted Stock Units

What you will do

• Serve as the primary accounting lead for complex, multi-billion-dollar revenue streams.
• Review and interpret intricate legal agreements to provide US GAAP conclusions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Sales, and Product teams to provide accounting guidance on deal structuring and new product launches.
• Operationalize technical accounting assessments into billing, collections, and reporting processes.
• Lead month-end close activities and serve as the key point of contact for external auditors.
• Drive initiatives to enhance internal controls and automate revenue accounting functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and active CPA license required.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, specifically ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Strong contract review skills with the ability to identify material accounting implications.
• Proven ability to research technical accounting topics and document robust accounting memos.
• Experience in operationalizing processes and implementing controls in a fast-paced environment.
