Technical Trainer and Adoption Specialist (AI)

Location: San Francisco, CA, US; on-site. Up to 30% travel to Sunnyvale and Bellevue locations and for training delivery, stakeholder interviews, and onboarding observations.

Salary: $105,000–$130,000 annually plus bonus and Restricted Stock Units.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver virtual instructor-led and in-person training for Google Workspace, Slack, and other company-wide software platforms.
• Build eLearning modules, video content, job aids, curricula, and other instructional materials from scratch.
• Conduct training needs analyses through stakeholder interviews, observation, and data review.
• Improve technical onboarding for corporate and manufacturing employees in partnership with IT, People Operations, site managers, and instructors.
• Develop AI literacy content for internal tools and enablement initiatives, including Claude and Workato.
• Analyze learner feedback and engagement data to measure effectiveness and continuously improve training content.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree plus 4–6 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or a related field, or a master’s degree plus 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Portfolio of instructional design work is required, including examples of eLearning, curricula, video content, or training programs created from scratch.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build training curricula rather than only maintain existing materials.
• Experience producing video or multimedia training content.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to corporate, technical, manufacturing, and field-workforce audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Claude, Workato, or similar AI productivity tools.
• Experience partnering with HR or People Operations on new-hire onboarding.
• Experience supporting technology rollouts or change-management initiatives through training and adoption.
