Senior Business Data Analyst – Strategic Partnerships (Fintech)

Location: Singapore. Day-to-day commercial and partner interaction takes place primarily within the Singapore time zone and Singapore offices.

What you will do

• Investigate partner concerns involving conversion performance, churn, segmentation, behavioral trends, and payment funnel optimization.
• Analyze large-scale operational and financial datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Perform independent investigations into ambiguous operational and commercial questions, developing analytical frameworks where needed.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across payment flows, user funnels, and operational workflows.
• Build reporting, dashboards, and analytical models using SQL, dbt, Tableau, and related tools.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and strategic partners, translating complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, autonomy, curiosity, and commercial judgment.
• Experience with BI tools, SQL, and modern cloud data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Understanding of analytics engineering concepts and modern data transformation workflows.
• Experience communicating analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders and working directly with enterprise partners.
• University degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with dbt, Tableau, Python, or related analytics tooling.
• Background in payments, fintech, subscriptions, e-commerce, or digital platforms.
• Experience with customer-facing work involving commercial teams and external stakeholders.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development, data analysis, automation tools, or AI agents.
