Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Hybrid role in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, or Hudson, Ohio, United States. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

What you will do

• Extract, clean, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify patterns, trends, and business opportunities.
• Use SQL, Excel, and visualization tools to answer business questions and communicate findings.
• Develop reports, dashboards, written analyses, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership.
• Create documented, repeatable queries, templates, and workflows while improving automation and reducing manual work.
• Partner with sales, operations, product, and finance teams to define analytical needs and project scope.
• Explore emerging analytical tools, including AI, to improve efficiency and insight quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, economics, business, engineering, or another quantitative field.
• 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, financial analysis, or a similar analytical role.
• Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, and data extraction.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data visualization, and analysis.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches, manage competing priorities, and explain findings to non-technical audiences.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI and data visualization platforms.
• Experience in SaaS, healthcare, subscription, or managed service business models.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.
• Experience developing dashboards and repeatable analytical processes.
