Data Analyst Intern (Crypto)

Location: Singapore; office-based role in the CBD area

hirify.global is a crypto business operating with financial, transaction, and reporting data.

What you will do

• Reconcile financial figures against independent sources and explain discrepancies.
• Investigate reports that appear incorrect and trace figures back to their origins.
• Automate recurring manual checks using SQL and Python.
• Build reliable scheduled validations and make missing data visible.
• Build and maintain dashboards used by Finance to monitor performance.
• Document dataset definitions, inclusions, and exclusions.

Requirements

• Currently studying or recently graduated in data, statistics, finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, or a similar numerate field.
• SQL experience with joins and aggregations, including the ability to read existing queries.
• Python experience for analysis or automation.
• Strong attention to numerical accuracy and a careful approach to checking work.
• Clear written communication and the ability to explain discrepancies to non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to work with production data and follow version control and review practices.

Nice to have

• Coursework or personal projects involving financial, accounting, or transaction data.
• Experience with Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau, or similar dashboard tools.
• Experience with large-scale spreadsheets.
• Interest in crypto or trading.
