Production Equipment Technician (EWN) - Onsite

Location: El Dorado Hills, California, United States; 100% onsite

Salary: $25.59–$33.47 USD per hour, bonus eligible

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Respond to technical support calls and record work time, parts, and service activity in the technician tracking system.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, controls, and computer hardware connected to production equipment.
• Relocate production equipment and support the installation of new equipment.
• Track parts usage and provide inventory recommendations to management.
• Maintain equipment records and follow OSHA, EPA, and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational education is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in a production environment with equipment repair knowledge.
• Proficiency in operating and repairing high-speed production equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to follow direction and work under time constraints.
• Ability to stand throughout the assigned shift and lift, carry, and move more than 25 pounds.

Nice to have

• Vendor or equipment repair certification for an insertion platform such as Blue Crest, Bowe, or Buhrs.
• Technical or vocational education.
