Maintenance Mechanic (Industrial)

Location: Niagara Falls, New York, USA; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Salary: $33.22–$44.18 per hour

What you will do

• Complete planned, unplanned, and preventive maintenance on industrial production and processing equipment.
• Inspect, assemble, disassemble, repair, and replace machinery components, tools, and utility systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and investigate breakdowns and line stoppages using root-cause analysis.
• Prioritize repairs and installations to minimize production downtime and maintain operational effectiveness.
• Open and close work orders, track spare parts, and maintain required records in the computerized maintenance documentation system.
• Review maintenance reports and inspect equipment for operational and safety compliance.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to qualify to wear a full-face respirator.
