Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Foundations

Location: United States, remote opportunity. Occasional travel may be required for company events and team offsites.

Salary: $176,000–$237,600 annually, plus eligibility for the equity plan.

What you will do

• Build systems that optimize cloud usage and support infrastructure scaling.
• Contribute to system architecture, design reviews, and long-term infrastructure roadmaps.
• Drive technical alignment across compute, networking, cloud orchestration, storage, and observability projects.
• Partner with Security to build secure-by-default systems.
• Work with engineering, product, stakeholders, and customers to align infrastructure decisions with business needs.
• Share design principles and help improve engineering and operational practices.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of coding experience in Go, Java, or another applicable language.
• Experience writing concurrent code, designing distributed systems, and using concurrency primitives.
• Complex cross-team engineering experience across cloud, compute, networking, or storage infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in at least one infrastructure area and familiarity with adjacent areas.
• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong collaboration, communication, alignment-building, and system-level decision-making skills.
