Broker Education and Support Role (Risk & Compliance)

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines; hybrid arrangement with at least two days per month in the Makati office

A digital platform business operating mortgage, property search, conveyancing, brokerage, and buyer-agent services across Australia and the Philippines.

What you will do

• Support risk, compliance, legal, governance, and operational activities, including maintaining incidents, issues, KRIs, actions, and governance records.
• Conduct assurance reviews, compliance monitoring, control testing, and post-settlement compliance reviews.
• Support internal and external audits, panel lender reviews, ASIC reference checks, supplier risk assessments, and regulatory requests.
• Identify compliance risks, control gaps, process weaknesses, and operational inefficiencies.
• Track audit findings, remediation actions, follow-up reviews, and issue closure.
• Work with stakeholders to improve controls, governance, assurance practices, and risk management outcomes.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in quality assurance, compliance monitoring, assurance reviews, audit, risk, or governance.
• Clear spoken and written communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, analyse trends, and identify process gaps.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Understanding of compliance obligations and regulatory frameworks such as Best Interest Duty, Responsible Lending, and ASIC guidelines is preferred.
• Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, mortgage broking, banking, compliance, assurance, or risk.
• Exposure to Best Interest Duty, Responsible Lending, and ASIC guidelines.
