Location: Hybrid role based in Melbourne, Australia.

What you will do
- Facilitate operational risk assessments, maintain risk registers, monitor treatment plans, and prepare executive risk reporting.
- Monitor contractual compliance and support APRA-related supplier obligations, evidence requests, and compliance reviews.
- Prepare governance reports, coordinate Risk Committee activities, and maintain governance documentation and action registers.
- Review operational controls across incident, change, problem, access, business continuity, disaster recovery, information security, third-party risk, and service-level management.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, remediation activities, and evidence collection.
- Support resilience testing, crisis exercises, and the development of operational policies, standards, and procedures.
Requirements
- Significant experience in operational risk management and financial services.
- Strong governance, audit management, stakeholder management, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Experience developing and assessing operational controls.
- Familiarity with APRA obligations, including CPS 230 and CPS 234.
- Degree in business, risk, information technology, or equivalent experience.
- High integrity, commercial awareness, collaboration, influence, calmness under pressure, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Nice to have
- Merchant acquiring or payments industry experience.
- Knowledge of APRA Prudential Standards and related requirements.
- ITIL, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or ISO 22301 knowledge or certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow GRC.
- Professional risk, ITIL, or ISO certification.
