Senior Atlassian Cloud Engineer (AI)

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 per year plus bonus; Restricted Stock Units included

What you will do

• Own day-to-day administration and long-term strategy for Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Opsgenie, Product Discovery, and Statuspage.
• Configure workflows, permissions, dashboards, issue structures, and automation to improve project delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
• Partner with project managers, business leaders, and IT teams to implement project management and ITSM practices.
• Design advanced reporting and analytics using eazyBI, JQL, CQL, filters, and dashboards.
• Resolve complex platform issues and coordinate with Atlassian Support and internal Service Desk teams.
• Lead platform enhancements, Atlassian feature adoption, AI initiatives with Rovo agents, and implementation of the Rovo MCP server.

Requirements

• 3+ years administering Atlassian Cloud environments in enterprise settings.
• Advanced Jira project configuration experience, including workflows, permission schemes, issue security, issue types, field configurations, and project roles.
• Strong command of JQL, CQL, and eazyBI for advanced reporting.
• Experience implementing ITSM processes in Jira Service Management, including Incident, Change, Problem, and CMDB/Assets.
• Understanding of RBAC, change control, release management, and system administration best practices.
• Experience with Okta or similar IAM providers, business-system integrations, JSON, and YAML.

Nice to have

• Atlassian Cloud Professional certifications, with two or more preferred.
• Experience developing Atlassian Rovo agents and leading AI-driven initiatives.
• Experience with large-scale Atlassian implementations or migrations.
• Experience supporting external user access and complex security models.
• Background in fast-growing or highly cross-functional organizations.
