Senior Maintenance Planner

Location: Vacaville, California, US. Fully site based, day shift on a 4x10 schedule, Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday.

Salary: $93,000–$155,000 annual base salary, plus performance-related bonus.

What you will do

• Review, prioritize, and validate maintenance requests based on safety, compliance, equipment reliability, and production impact.
• Develop approved requests into ready-to-schedule work orders with complete scopes, labor, materials, permits, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Scheduling, and Materials Management to minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain accurate maintenance master data, plans, and task lists in SAP.
• Support plant shutdowns, equipment changeovers, projects, and planned maintenance activities.
• Analyze maintenance metrics, lead continuous improvement initiatives, mentor team members, and support investigations, CAPAs, vendor work, and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant maintenance planning experience.
• Five to ten years of experience in maintenance planning, maintenance, reliability, or technical operations in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or industrial environment.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning best practices, preventive maintenance, and GMP-regulated environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical documents, and equipment information to create comprehensive maintenance work plans.
• Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
