Trading Operations Engineer (Trading Technology)

Location: Grand Cayman, hybrid working opportunities

What you will do

• Monitor high-volume live trading and portfolio risk.
• Contribute to the automated trading operations codebase using programmatic solutions.
• Manage projects with support teams and coordinate software and hardware upgrades.
• Resolve discrepancies involving trading positions, broker statements, and internal applications.
• Scale and expand trading operations while diagnosing complex real-time system issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a related field.
• Strong software development skills in Python and working knowledge of Linux.
• Strong knowledge of PNL and risk reporting applications, trading technology, and technical concepts.
• Familiarity with market structure and regulatory developments.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
