AeroVect is a Series A company developing autonomous ground-handling systems for airlines and ground service providers.

What you will do

  • Build and extend simulation environments, including production autonomy-stack integration, vehicle and actor models, and environmental and operational conditions.
  • Maintain simulation fidelity as the autonomy stack evolves and address differences between simulated and real inputs.
  • Build and operate cloud-based scenario execution with orchestration, parallelism, result aggregation, artifact capture, and runtime cost modelling.
  • Develop evaluation layers with precise assertions and pass/fail criteria for release gating.
  • Create failure-triage tooling, including failure clustering, recordings, and dashboards for autonomy engineers.
  • Extend scenario-authoring tools across backend and frontend while improving determinism, reproducibility, pipeline performance, and site coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Strong Python skills and experience maintaining code in a shared codebase.
  • Hands-on simulation experience for autonomous systems and familiarity with platforms such as CARLA, Applied Intuition, Foretellix, NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, Gazebo, or proprietary simulators.
  • Knowledge of simulation, modelling, and validation methodology, including the use of simulated results to support real-world behaviour claims.
  • Experience with Docker, Linux, distributed systems, GPU-based simulation environments, CI/CD, and cloud execution.
  • Experience analyzing simulation telemetry, debugging and profiling distributed GPU-bound systems, and integrating automated end-to-end validation into CI.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Experience with safety-critical systems in autonomous driving, aerospace, or robotics.
  • Experience with autonomous vehicle software stacks such as ROS or ROS2.
  • Experience with sensor modelling, environment generation, perception ground-truth pipelines, or large-scale distributed simulation.
  • Exposure to log re-simulation, flake reduction, determinism debugging, golden-output comparison, or safety standards including ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL4600, and ISO 13849.
