What you will do

  • Plan, direct, and organize clinical engineering operations for Central Ohio and hirify.global entities.
  • Develop cost-effective strategies for servicing and maintaining clinical equipment.
  • Provide administrative direction for major medical equipment purchases and support negotiations with equipment manufacturers on service contracts.
  • Evaluate internal and outsourced maintenance and repair options while improving service response and customer satisfaction.
  • Advise hirify.global hospitals on equipment maintenance, repairs, purchasing standardization, and resource allocation.
  • Manage department staffing, budgets, spare-parts inventory, equipment-history databases, technical documentation, and in-service training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a technician.
  • Knowledge of clinical equipment ranging from computerized digital systems to patient monitors.
  • Knowledge of TJC, EPA, NFPA, OSHA, ODH, and other applicable equipment-maintenance regulations.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds and perform required walking, standing, sitting, handling, and reaching activities.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
  • AAMI certification.
