Commercial Appraiser

Location: Chicago, Illinois; Minneapolis, Minnesota; or Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA

Salary: $75,000–$150,000 expected annual compensation, plus fee-split

What you will do

• Engage commercial real estate valuation assignments and define the scope of work.
• Select appropriate valuation approaches and methodologies for commercial properties.
• Collect data, conduct market research, and analyze highest and best use scenarios.
• Analyze revenue and expense performance, comparable sales, costs, and market conditions.
• Develop cash flows using discounted cash flow models and form opinions of value.
• Support client relationships, business development, and mentorship of less experienced professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Certified General Appraiser license.
• 2–5 years of experience appraising commercial real estate.
• Advanced analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook/Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and complete assignments reliably.

Nice to have

• Candidate for the MAI designation.
• Experience with Argus Enterprise or Rockport VAL.
