Risk Associate (Electronic Trading)

What you will do

• Provide risk oversight for electronic trading activities and market risk across trading strategies.
• Monitor trading risks in real time, escalate issues, and support timely resolution.
• Design, maintain, and review risk limit, stress-testing, and scenario-analysis frameworks.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Engineering, Business Management, Compliance, and Operations teams on trading-related risk issues.
• Provide risk governance across trade lifecycle events, new projects, and initiatives.
• Enhance electronic trading risk controls, monitoring, alerting, automation, back-testing, and margin analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in electronic trading risk within a sell-side, buy-side, quantitative proprietary trading, or digital assets environment.
• Experience applying risk judgment to complex portfolios and constructively challenging trading assumptions.
• Experience collaborating with trading, business management, compliance, and technology teams in automated trading environments.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL/database technologies, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive approach to continuous learning.
