What you will do

• Review client credibility during onboarding and ongoing monitoring by analyzing business information and financial statements.
• Manage written-off portfolios, contact clients, negotiate payment arrangements, and maximize recovery.
• Research account histories and recommend risk-mitigation and remedial actions.
• Provide insights for onboarding, monitoring, and collection strategy decisions.
• Identify irregularities and emerging risks, resolving or escalating issues promptly.
• Improve operational efficiency by providing feedback on data, tools, vendors, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Five years of relevant experience in bad-debt collections, credit underwriting, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
• Proactive, curious, thoughtful, and comfortable working with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to analyze complex data and generate meaningful business insights.
• SQL knowledge is preferred for the role.
