Assoc Partner, Consult Partner - State Local Education (SLED), Georgia / Florida (SLED Consulting)

Location: Georgia or Florida, preferably within proximity to a state capital

Salary: $185,760–$334,320 per year in the U.S.; different ranges apply to certain locations. Eligible for an annual bonus or sales commission plan.

What you will do

• Lead complex consulting engagements and client delivery across state, local government, and K–12 and higher-education accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with public-sector decision-makers, elected officials, department heads, procurement officers, and C-level stakeholders.
• Identify, pursue, and convert business-development opportunities, including scoping engagements and negotiating fees.
• Shape proposals and strategic change agendas involving technology, operations, cloud solutions, and customer transformations.
• Manage financial outcomes, utilization, margins, backlog growth, customer satisfaction, and delivery risk.
• Develop consulting talent, thought leadership, innovation, and industry presence.

Requirements

• Experience in sales roles with state, local government, and education organizations.
• Strong understanding of Georgia and/or Florida government budget cycles, fiscal-year planning, procurement regulations, public contracting law, and vendor compliance.
• Experience with IT professional services and solutions, including cloud adoption or migration.
• Knowledge of CJIS, FERPA, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and StateRAMP compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage multidisciplinary stakeholders, drive revenue growth, and manage margins.
• Strong written communication skills and experience responding to formal government solicitations, including RFPs and RFIs.

• Experience in a government agency, public school district, or university system.
• Knowledge of digital equity, smart city, or government modernization initiatives.
• Existing relationships with California state agencies, municipalities, or educational institutions.
