Director, Consulting - Insurance (AI)

Location: New York (Grand Central), NY, United States; in-office 4x per week

Salary: $200,000–$280,000 USD base salary, plus equity and benefits. OTE: $400,000–$410,000.

What you will do

• Partner with the VP of Consulting to qualify opportunities and develop consult-to-platform go-to-market motions.
• Lead discovery workshops to identify insurance workflow bottlenecks, high-value use cases, and future-state architectures.
• Own delivery roadmaps and oversee high-quality, scalable production deployments of automated agents and workflows.
• Translate client requirements into product and engineering priorities while advocating for enterprise needs.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, resources, timelines, and client outcomes across consulting engagements.
• Develop delivery playbooks and frameworks to scale platform consulting globally.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience at a top-tier consultancy or high-growth SaaS platform.
• Deep experience in the insurance industry and a record of managing complex client engagements from initial meeting through proven value.
• Experience leading cross-functional or technical delivery teams, including engineers.
• Ability to re-architect manual business processes into automated workflows and create BRDs and process documentation.
• Experience with CRM, ERP, EMR, RPA, low-code, AI, automation, data platforms, or modern enterprise software.
• Understanding of data architectures and enterprise integration patterns, including APIs and ETL; comfortable in both pre-sales and delivery contexts.
