General Construction Manager (AI Data Centers)

Location: AMER; full-time, on-site presence Monday through Friday is required, with weekend availability during critical milestones. Site hours begin at 6:30 AM.

Salary: $140,000–$210,000 USD annually, plus potential bonus, equity, and commission programs.

What you will do

• Manage daily on-site construction execution across civil, structural, MEP rough-in, commissioning, and turnover phases.
• Act as the primary interface between the general contractor, subcontractors, design team, Nscale project team, and vendors.
• Monitor schedules, identify risks, escalate delays, and drive mitigation strategies.
• Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, contract requirements, quality standards, and safety compliance.
• Supervise the MEP Manager and coordinate with EHS, scheduling, and cost management functions.
• Lead OAC meetings, maintain construction records, manage punch-list completion, and support systems verification and documentation handover.

Requirements

• 8+ years of construction management experience, including at least 3 years on data center, mission-critical, or large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience managing general contractors and multidisciplinary subcontractor teams.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction drawings.
• OSHA 30 certification, a valid driver's license, and reliable full-time on-site presence are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale, colocation, or Tier III/IV data center construction.
• Familiarity with DCIM systems, raised-floor environments, and critical power or cooling infrastructure.
• PMP, CCM, or equivalent credential.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with MS Project or Primavera P6.
