Backend Engineer, Flag Delivery (Go)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $145,500–$235,400 annually, depending on US geographic pay zone. Additional compensation includes RSUs and health, vision, dental, and mental health benefits.

What you will do

• Build, ship, and operate streaming and polling services for feature-flag delivery.
• Own projects from system design and implementation through rollout and ongoing operations.
• Investigate and resolve production issues while participating in the supported on-call rotation.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and contribute to code and design reviews.
• Improve observability and reliability across owned services.
• Collaborate with SDK Engineering, Data Platform, and product-engineering teams on cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software-engineering experience building production services.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Go, Rust, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with AWS or an equivalent cloud platform.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, concurrency, API design, and testing.
• Experience debugging production issues, working with observability tools, and participating in on-call rotations.
• Ability to break down ambiguous work, communicate clearly, and drive projects to completion.
