Security Program Manager (Physical Security)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, California, or Dallas, Texas, United States. Approximately 25%–30% travel is expected across the data center portfolio.

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 annually plus bonus and Restricted Stock Units.

What you will do

• Lead physical security delivery across multiple data center construction, expansion, and retrofit projects.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including design reviews, bid packages, budgets, schedules, submittals, change orders, installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, systems integrators, customers, and internal teams.
• Review security drawings, specifications, product substitutions, RFIs, and technical submissions against project requirements.
• Conduct site walks, field inspections, installation reviews, and commissioning activities.
• Develop security standards, quality assurance processes, governance documents, operating procedures, and long-term physical security strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in physical security project management, security systems deployment, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, critical infrastructure, or similarly complex environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fencing, gates, lighting, and perimeter security systems.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, consultants, systems integrators, multiple projects, locations, budgets, and competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of networking, servers, systems integrations, construction management platforms such as Procore, and technical drawings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Security Management, or a related field.

Nice to have

• CPP, PSP, PMP, CPTED, or relevant security systems certification.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software.
