Senior Program Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Moorpark, California, United States; office-based with up to 20% travel

Salary: $111,000–$169,250 per year

What you will do

• Lead the execution of complex programs or multiple concurrent programs across cost, schedule, scope, and technical performance.
• Develop program plans, requirements, budgets, estimates at completion, resource allocations, communications plans, and integrated master schedules.
• Manage contractual deliverables, program controls, performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and execution margins.
• Identify and mitigate program-level risks, manage scope changes, and advise leadership and customers on impacts.
• Lead customer and executive program reviews, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and mentor Project Managers and other Program Managers.
• Support business development, capture activities, and the preparation of cost and technical proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 12–15 years of Program Management experience, including leadership of advanced technical development or systems-of-systems programs.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent programs and managing firm-fixed-price programs with risk mitigation plans.
• Knowledge of project management methods, tools, processes, Microsoft Office, and export licenses for military products.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or qualifying protected individual under ITAR/EAR requirements.
• Ability to work in an office environment in Moorpark, California; Secret clearance is listed, and current Secret or Top Secret clearance is strongly desired.

Nice to have

• Technical master’s degree.
• PMI or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Earned Value Management and CRAD development programs under OTA or FAR 15 contracts.
