Staff Product Designer (AI)

Location: New York City, San Francisco, or Seattle; hybrid work with 1–2 days per week in a Design Hub and the remainder remote

Salary: $124,400–$183,000, $148,200–$218,000, or $176,800–$260,000 USD annually, depending on work location and level. Additional equity grants may be available.

What you will do

• Define projects by synthesizing customer insights and business goals into briefs and actionable roadmaps.
• Turn ambiguous cross-team problems into shipped work, setting priorities and balancing quality, speed, and impact.
• Lead campaign experience projects from concept through execution, creating high-fidelity designs and production-ready prototypes.
• Design reusable systems and workflows, including prompt libraries, component generators, and workflow automations.
• Build cross-functional relationships and influence roadmaps through evidence-based decisions and tangible prototypes.
• Increase team impact through mentorship, recruiting, inclusive practices, and responsible AI guidance.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating craft excellence, systems thinking, and leadership through influence.
• Experience using data to inform design decisions, prioritize work, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Comfort working in code, prototyping in production, and using LLM-powered tools.
• Ability to design and build scalable solutions across teams and workflows.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and create clarity through shipped work.
• Ability to work in the hybrid arrangement from New York City, San Francisco, or Seattle.
