Director of Product Design, Sustainability Management (AI)

Location: United States; remote within the country of employment or from an office

Salary: $177,000–$290,000 annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus and RSUs

What you will do

• Define long-term UX strategy for sustainability management and align it with business and product objectives.
• Establish a unified, scalable design direction across complex enterprise products, including design systems, information architecture, navigation, and workflows.
• Lead hands-on design of generative AI, LLM, agentic, predictive-insight, and intelligent automation experiences.
• Use qualitative research and quantitative data to guide design decisions and measure adoption, satisfaction, usability, and other UX outcomes.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and executive leaders on product architecture, roadmaps, prioritization, and strategic recommendations.
• Coach UX managers and individual contributors, lead design reviews, and establish effective design operating models.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product design experience, including at least 5 years in design leadership within complex B2B enterprise software.
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Portfolio demonstrating high-quality product design, strategic problem-solving, leadership, and delivery of complex products.
• Experience designing complex, data-heavy enterprise software or professional-grade productivity platforms, including information architecture and navigation for diverse users.
• Hands-on experience implementing generative AI, LLMs, or agentic workflows in live products is required.
• Strong expertise in enterprise-scale composable design systems, executive communication, strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, coaching, and people leadership.

• Experience in a high-growth scale-up or leading major digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with regulatory, financial reporting, sustainability, or ESG environments.
• Master’s degree in a related discipline.
