Quality Inspector (Receiving & MRB)

What you will do

• Perform receiving, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of supplier materials and internally manufactured hardware.
• Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measurement tools and verify engineering drawings, specifications, material certifications, and product records.
• Maintain product traceability and document inspection results accurately.
• Identify and control nonconforming material, place items on quality hold, and initiate nonconformance records.
• Prepare inspection data and product history for Material Review Board review and execute approved rework, repair, return-to-supplier, or scrap dispositions.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Machine Shop, Engineering, Receiving, Supplier Quality, Sourcing, and Warehousing to resolve quality issues and improve inspection processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing or another technical production environment.
• Experience inspecting precision-machined or electromechanical components with standard dimensional inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and controlling nonconforming material while maintaining inspection records and traceability.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
