Quality Assurance Inspector

Location: Onsite in Mineral Wells, Texas, United States

Salary: $17.00–$23.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect raw materials, vendor standard parts, assemblies, complex close-tolerance parts, and PC boards using drawings, blueprints, specifications, microscopes, and inspection equipment.
• Receive parts and verify purchase orders, certifications, packing slips, and Receiving Inspection Test Record requirements.
• Perform acceptance inspections, first-article inspections, source inspections, and basic electrical checks using volt/ohmmeters and power supplies.
• Document inspection results, receiving activities, and non-conformances; route accepted parts to stores and rejected parts to the Material Review Board area.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure measurement equipment remains within its calibration schedule.
• Issue FAA Form 8130-3 Authorized Release Documents when authorized and after completing required training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or General Education Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
• Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, scales, rulers, and other mechanical measuring devices.
• Ability to work from drawings and blueprints and inspect parts with compound angles or three-dimensional projections.
• Ability to work onsite in Mineral Wells, Texas.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required for this position.
