Business Intelligence Analyst III (Healthcare)

Location: Hybrid; required to work onsite 2 days per week in Sacramento, United States.

Salary: $106,745.60–$160,118.40 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Build predictive models, advanced dashboards, and rapid proofs of concept for complex business questions.
• Translate raw data into actionable insights and recommendations supporting operational and financial decisions.
• Lead business and technical requirements gathering and small-to-medium analytical projects.
• Present data-driven findings to operational leaders and influence non-technical stakeholders.
• Apply independent judgment to novel and ambiguous problems while informally mentoring junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• 5 years of recent relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Proven experience independently solving complex business problems using advanced analytics and predictive modeling.
• Strong experience building advanced models and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI, or using advanced Excel modeling tools.
• Advanced SQL skills for independent data extraction and exploration, including SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, and CTEs.
• Advanced understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling concepts.
• Experience leading small-to-medium analytical projects.
• Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment on novel, ambiguous business questions.
