Business Intelligence Analyst III

Location: Hybrid, with onsite work required two days per week in Sacramento

Salary: $106,745.60–$160,118.40 annual salary

What you will do

• Analyze complex business questions and translate raw data into actionable operational and financial insights.
• Build predictive models, proofs of concept, dashboards, and advanced visualizations using Tableau or Power BI.
• Gather business and technical requirements and present data-driven recommendations to operational leaders.
• Write advanced SQL queries for complex data exploration, extraction, and analysis.
• Lead small-to-medium analytical projects and informally mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted.
• Five years of recent relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced experience with statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modeling, and complex business problem-solving.
• Advanced SQL skills, including SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, and CTEs.
• Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel modeling, plus strong data storytelling and presentation skills.
• Epic Cogito Certification and one tool-specific certification—Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate or Tableau Certified Data Analyst—required within one year of starting.
