Accounts Payable Accountant

What you will do

• Process accounts payable transactions and incoming payments in line with financial policies and procedures.
• Verify, classify, record, and reconcile accounts payable data, vendor accounts, and monthly statements.
• Investigate discrepancies and support timely invoice payments by communicating with vendors.
• Generate accounts payable status reports and assist with month-end closing.
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits and collaborate with stakeholders across the hirify.global Group.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Accountant and in Procure to Pay functions.
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles, including calculating, posting, and managing financial records.
• Experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software; SAP or another ERP system is preferred.
• Strong data entry, organizational, time management, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience working in highly collaborative environments.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
