What you will do

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS.
• Manage accounting for accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and leases.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Payroll, and Tax functions to ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Must be located in Latin America (Latam).
• Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Excel (Sumif, Vlookup, Pivot Tables).
• English: Fluent (C1) required.

Nice to have

• Experience with large ERP and Accounting Software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Maconomy, etc.).
