Senior Payroll Analyst

Location: Centennial, Colorado, United States; onsite at the Centennial facility. The role supports employees across multiple U.S. locations and remote work arrangements and may require occasional travel to company facilities.

Salary: $90,000–$118,000 base salary per year.

hirify.global designs, develops, and manufactures jet propulsion systems using additive manufacturing for unmanned aerial defense and the U.S. defense industrial base.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end payroll operations for all U.S.-based employees across multiple states, including variable compensation, overtime, adjustments, reimbursements, and employee lifecycle events.
• Administer Rippling payroll, HRIS, and integrated timekeeping systems, including configuration, testing, access controls, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Manage timekeeping practices for regular hours, overtime, shift premiums, leave, meal periods, work schedules, and manufacturing labor reporting.
• Oversee payroll tax registrations, agency notices, filings, W-2s, reconciliations, audits, records, and compliance controls.
• Partner with HR, accounting, finance, operations, IT, and site leaders on payroll accuracy, labor charging, job costing, and reporting.
• Improve payroll and timekeeping processes through metrics, dashboards, root-cause analysis, documentation, and system implementation support.

Requirements

• At least five years of progressive payroll experience, including end-to-end payroll processing.
• At least two years of payroll leadership, supervisory, or process ownership experience.
• Experience administering payroll for a multi-state, geographically dispersed U.S. workforce with hourly and salaried employees.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour, tax, withholding, and recordkeeping requirements.
• Experience with integrated payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping systems, including configuration, testing, reconciliations, audits, and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical, communication, confidentiality, organization, and deadline-management skills.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Rippling, manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, or federal government contracting payroll.
• Experience with multiple shifts, shift differentials, overtime, compressed workweeks, weekend schedules, labor charging, job costing, and project-based timekeeping.
• Experience supporting Defense Contract Audit Agency audits or similar labor and payroll reviews.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Certified Payroll Professional certification, and experience with payroll system implementations or rapid-growth organizations.
