OFCI Manager

Location: Amarillo, Texas, United States; onsite

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 per year, plus Restricted Stock Units

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed equipment, from factory testing through installation, startup, commissioning, and operational handoff.
• Track procurement milestones and delivery schedules using a Master Equipment Log and Just-In-Time logistics strategies.
• Review submittals and BIM coordination files, validating equipment footprints, weights, clearances, and connection points.
• Lead onsite receiving, inspections, damage assessments, and verification of technical documentation and spare parts.
• Coordinate equipment vendors, MEP trades, procurement, and engineering teams through factory testing and Level 3 and Level 4 commissioning.
• Oversee modular and containerized power and cooling systems while mitigating scope gaps, equipment risks, and logistics bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of direct experience in mission-critical data center or heavy industrial construction.
• Deep knowledge of large-scale electrical and mechanical systems, including switchgear, UPS, backup generators, chilled water systems, and CRAH/CRAC units.
• Proven experience coordinating long-lead owner-furnished equipment within active construction schedules.
• High proficiency with Procore, BIM 360, and Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Ability to work hands-on at an active job site and coordinate vendors, trades, and internal engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.

Nice to have

• PMP or LEED AP certification.
• 8+ years of experience in hyperscale data center environments.
• Experience with sustainable cooling or power technologies and modular or prefabricated power and cooling skids.
