AVP, Information Security (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role in Fort Lee, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $150,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Execute information security governance, IT assurance, and compliance activities across the organization.
• Monitor SDLC and change management adherence and coordinate penetration-test vulnerability and end-of-life asset remediation.
• Maintain and improve crisis management, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
• Lead business impact analysis workshops, define resilience metrics, and support resilience strategies.
• Monitor IT risk metrics, create new metrics, and report on risk-management effectiveness.
• Fulfill privacy requests, support audits and examinations, maintain control mappings, conduct gap analyses, and deliver security awareness training.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in information security, IT security, IT audit, GRC, compliance, assurance, risk, business analysis, or business continuity.
• CISA or CISSP certification required.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, change management, business continuity management, and IT risk management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information assurance, business administration, or a related field.
• Familiarity with FFIEC IT Handbook, SOC 1/2, PCI DSS, COBIT 2019, and ITIL.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment such as financial services, military, or healthcare.
