Security Engineer (AI)

Salary: $145,000–$195,000 USD per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Build and operate the SIEM and SecOps dashboard covering alerts, anomalies, authentication events, infrastructure changes, and audit-ready evidence.
• Run continuous internal penetration tests across services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and embedded SDKs.
• Use Claude Security and Claude Code to automate reconnaissance, fuzzing, code review, and exploit development.
• Own vulnerability and dependency management, including CVE triage, Dependabot tuning, lockfile hygiene, and gated auto-merge workflows.
• Improve the secure development lifecycle through threat modeling, secure-by-default patterns, SAST, DAST, and secret scanning in CI.
• Partner with compliance to prepare controls, evidence, and monitoring artifacts for PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and DORA.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in security engineering, product security, or DevSecOps.
• Hands-on experience with web application, API, cloud, and infrastructure penetration testing.
• Production experience operating a SIEM such as Datadog, Splunk, Elastic, Panther, or a similar platform.
• Fluency in TypeScript and Node, plus working familiarity with Rust, Go, or Python.
• Experience with vulnerability management at scale, CVE triage, SCA tooling, and dependency upgrade automation.
• Comfort using AI-native security tooling such as Claude Code or Claude Security.

• Experience in fintech, payments, or another regulated environment.
