Procurement Associate (IT Procurement)

What you will do

• Create purchase orders from stakeholder requisitions and manage daily procurement operations for APAC.
• Negotiate supplier proposals and quotes while balancing cost and delivery timelines.
• Build internal stakeholder relationships and develop supplier-based procurement strategies.
• Coordinate external orders and internal hardware shipments, monitor deliveries, and resolve logistics issues.
• Ensure purchased goods meet company standards and applicable laws and regulations.
• Process invoices with Finance and suppliers, support procurement initiatives, and prepare regional reports.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience in an IT or technology environment, including infrastructure, hardware, or software categories.
• Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, buying processes, and procurement management software such as Oracle, Ariba, or GEP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, judgment, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and handle ambiguity.

Nice to have

• Experience procuring IT equipment for a global firm.
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred for communication with suppliers in China and Hong Kong.
