Inventory Control Manager (SAP)

Location: Must reside in the United States and live within a commutable distance of Coppell, Texas or Frederick, Maryland. Travel of up to 15% is required.

Total compensation: $67,000–$90,000 per year, including base salary, variable pay when applicable, and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and implement inventory control strategies across multiple sites.
• Lead inventory forecasting and demand planning with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
• Coordinate material requirements for large-scale projects and production schedules.
• Analyze inventory metrics, identify risks, and present reporting on turns, obsolescence, and accuracy.
• Manage SAP MM/IM transactions, troubleshoot system issues, and implement process improvements.
• Lead and develop inventory control specialists while supporting cycle counts, physical inventories, audits, and obsolete inventory reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive inventory control experience, including multi-site management.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience leading inventory professionals.
• Expert-level SAP proficiency with MM/IM modules is required.
• Experience with demand planning, forecasting methodologies, inventory control principles, data analysis, and project management.
• Must be a US person capable of obtaining a US Government Public Trust Clearance.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Experience with advanced forecasting tools in SAP.
