Staff Product Designer (FinTech)

Staff Product Designer (FinTech): Shaping complex consumer financial products and defining the design vision for a hirify.globalible rent payment experience with an accent on product strategy, interaction quality, prototyping, and design systems. Focus on designing flagship initiatives, using AI across the design lifecycle, influencing cross-functional roadmaps, and raising craft standards across the organization.

Location: Remote. hirify.global has employees across the US, Australia, Canada, and South America. New York, San Francisco, and Salt Lake City roles have hybrid office expectations, but this position is posted as remote.

Compensation: $125–$200 per hour, adjusted by geographic pay zone. The engagement may convert to a full-time role.

What you will do

• Define the design vision and north star for critical, complex consumer product initiatives.
• Own flagship design work end to end, from research and ideation through prototyping, refinement, and execution.
• Build detailed prototypes and influence product strategy, roadmaps, and cross-functional decisions.
• Use AI for research, exploration, prototyping, and front-end workflows.
• Partner with design, product, engineering, marketing, and executive leadership to shape product direction.
• Establish design standards, evolve the design system, and mentor designers through craft feedback.

Requirements

• Track record as a senior individual contributor on complex consumer products.
• Deep UX/UI expertise with shipped work demonstrating significant scope and quality.
• Ability to operate at product strategy level and shape direction through design.
• Exceptional interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with modern design tools, front-end development, and AI-assisted design workflows; interest in financial products.
