What you will do
- Lead discovery through interviews, shadowing, workflow observation, and current- and future-state process mapping.
- Design an end-to-end workspace covering prioritized queues, unified records, evidence and enrichment panels, dashboards, history, and decision flows.
- Create interactive prototypes in Figma or an equivalent tool for early customer review and formal acceptance.
- Design explainable AI experiences that show recommendations, confidence, evidence, uncertainty, audit trails, and review or override paths.
- Partner with product, engineering, data staff, users, and subject-matter experts from problem definition through launch.
- Establish reusable design practices, design-system patterns, research methods, and reliable handoff and quality-review processes.
Requirements
- 8+ years of product or UX design experience with a portfolio of shipped, complex applications used for real operational work.
- End-to-end ownership of data-dense, workflow-heavy enterprise interfaces, including queues, dashboards, case or record views, role-based access, and data visualization.
- Direct user research, information architecture, strong visual craft, interactive prototyping, and design-system experience.
- Experience designing accessible interfaces meeting Section 508 and WCAG requirements.
- Hands-on senior-level design leadership in an environment without an established design practice; this is not a design management role.
- US citizenship and an active US Top Secret clearance with CAC eligibility are mandatory.

- Unlimited PTO with manager approval.
- 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
