Consulting Solutions Architect - Value Engineering

Location: Remote within the Central or Eastern United States

Salary: $223,550–$289,300 annual on-target earnings (OTE), including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Partner with account teams and customers early in sales cycles to uncover business drivers, financial constraints, and decision criteria.
• Translate customer challenges into quantifiable cost, risk, growth, and business impact.
• Build TCO, ROI, NPV, cash-flow, lifecycle, and cost-of-inaction analyses across current-state and future-state alternatives.
• Connect solution architecture decisions to measurable business outcomes while balancing cost, performance, flexibility, and risk.
• Create and present executive-level value business cases, financial models, analyses, and customer value narratives.
• Influence complex, multi-year, subscription, consumption, and as-a-service sales motions, while developing reusable value-engineering tools and enabling account teams.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in Solution Engineering, Consulting, Value Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience building and presenting TCO, ROI, and NPV financial models.
• Ability to connect technical solutions with business and financial outcomes.
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills, with experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Experience with lifecycle management, modernization strategies, and sales frameworks or enablement programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with subscription, consumption, or as-a-service models such as STaaS or Keystone.
• Background in infrastructure, cloud, or data management solutions.
• Experience leading or serving as a team lead.
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
