Solution Architect (Cloud Infrastructure): Designing and overseeing the implementation of enterprise cloud infrastructure for mission-critical government environments with an accent on multi-cloud strategy, DevOps, and secure system modernization. Location: Remote (US). Must be based in the US and be able to work at Hanscom AFB, MA if required.

Salary: $112,900.00 - $257,000.00 (annualized)

What you will do

• Oversee a team of professionals to guide clients through IT infrastructure modernization using enterprise cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design, develop, and debug components for Azure, AWS, GCP, and Office 365.
• Manage container applications and orchestration using Kubernetes within a DevOps framework.
• Design and migrate large-scale log management and SIEM platform architectures from scratch.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities and LLM-backed tooling into engineering workflows.
• Make critical architectural decisions for environments with restricted toolchains and contested network conditions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing cloud infrastructure (networking, identity, compute, and storage).
• Experience with enterprise virtualization and data platforms in air-gap or multi-tenant constraints.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, containerization, and CI/CD pipeline design in classified environments.
• Secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Top Secret clearance.
• AWS Certification.
• Experience with DoD installations and C2 systems (NIPR, SIPR, coalition networks).
• Experience building agentic workflows and custom automation pipelines.
• Proven track record in a technical lead or principal role accountable for delivery.
