Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Project Management Assistant, ANS

Location: Atlanta, GA; onsite at client and partner sites. The role is listed as hybrid and includes in-person collaboration, client work, and travel to customer sites as needed.

What you will do

• Support the Project Manager by organizing meetings, walkdowns, agendas, minutes, and action-item tracking.
• Assist with RFP creation for engineering and construction bidding and maintain project phase checklists.
• Build project schedules and follow up on permit status with designated points of contact.
• Manage Project ID and Workorder requests, vendor financial updates, forecasts, status reports, and KPIs.
• Review vendor invoices, material requests, contracts, and QA/QC reports for PM approval and client submission.
• Coordinate with contractors and client personnel, resolve project issues, and facilitate project closeout.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business with 2–4 years of experience in electric utilities or a related field.
• Alternatively, an associate’s degree in engineering or business with 5–8 years of experience in the electric or gas utility field or a related field.
• Strong written and oral communication, analytical thinking, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with multiple teams, interact with all levels of management and staff, and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work onsite with clients and partners in Atlanta, GA, and travel to customer sites as needed.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Maximo.
• Familiarity with electric utilities infrastructure project concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
