Airport Project Manager (Infrastructure)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; travel required up to 70% of the time.

What you will do

• Manage multiple airport infrastructure and signage deployment projects from preconstruction handoff through completion and closeout.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, deployment milestones, and financial reports.
• Coordinate airport authorities, airlines, terminal operators, contractors, consultants, utilities, fabricators, and internal teams.
• Manage airport badging, security clearances, permits, escorts, airside requirements, work windows, utility outages, inspections, and operational restrictions.
• Oversee installation sequencing, construction quality, safety, commissioning, testing, turnover documentation, warranties, and punch-list completion.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, change requests, permits, and project documentation while identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• 3–10 years of experience managing commercial construction, infrastructure, transportation, or design-build projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, project management, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Experience with permitting, utility coordination, construction administration, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, relationship management, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software; Bluebeam, eBuilder, SiteTracker, or Microsoft Project experience preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience working directly with airport authorities or on aviation-related construction projects.
• Experience with display technology, signage, electrical systems, structural installations, or transportation infrastructure.
• Familiarity with airport security protocols, badging, operational work windows, and airside/landside construction practices.
