Project Manager (Airports)

Location: Atlanta, GA, United States; travel up to 70% required to support project deployment activities.

What you will do

• Manage multiple airport infrastructure and signage deployment projects from preconstruction handoff through commissioning and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, milestones, forecasts, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate airport authorities, airlines, terminal operators, contractors, fabricators, consultants, utilities, regulators, and internal teams.
• Manage airport badging, security clearances, permits, escorts, work windows, airside requirements, utility outages, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, change requests, and construction documentation while resolving risks, field conflicts, and schedule impacts.
• Monitor contractor performance, quality, safety, schedule adherence, punch lists, turnover documentation, warranties, and project closeout.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, project management, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant commercial construction experience considered.
• 3–10 years of experience managing commercial construction, infrastructure, transportation, or design-build projects.
• Experience leading projects in active operational environments such as airports, transit facilities, campuses, or occupied public spaces.
• Experience with permitting, utility coordination, construction administration, procurement, scheduling, commissioning, and closeout.
• Experience with specialty construction involving signage, electrical systems, structural installations, digital displays, architectural elements, or transportation infrastructure.
• Strong construction sequencing, field coordination, risk management, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.

Nice to have

• Direct experience working with airport authorities or on aviation-related construction projects.
• Experience with display technology and signage.
• Familiarity with airport security protocols, badging, operational work windows, and airside and landside construction practices.
• Experience with Bluebeam, eBuilder, SiteTracker, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management platforms.
