Project Manager (IT Network Infrastructure)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. US citizenship is required; candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Salary: $150,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage IT network projects and task orders from initiation through completion, controlling scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, and issues.
• Own workstreams, deliverables, milestones, and CDRL items while supporting Senior Project Managers on larger multi-phase efforts.
• Build and maintain Microsoft Project schedules and provide inputs to the program Integrated Master Schedule.
• Brief project status, risks, due-outs, KPIs, and milestones during weekly project updates and leadership reviews.
• Coordinate government customers, defense contractors, IT teams, and business stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain mission alignment.
• Support the design, deployment, and optimization of the SPARTAN network in accordance with DoD and federal security requirements.

Requirements

• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably with IT or network infrastructure projects.
• PMP certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, project scheduling, risk tracking, and project management methodologies.
• Basic networking knowledge, cross-functional technical team coordination experience, and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Defense contracting or classified-environment experience.
• Experience managing CDRL deliverables under government contracts and familiarity with government contract execution.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
