Senior Product Manager (AI)

Location: British Columbia, Canada. Remote-first role. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada from the start date; visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: CAD 129,000–160,000 per year, with potential additional compensation through stock options, bonuses, merit increases, or sales commissions depending on the role.

What you will do

• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and validate product hypotheses.
• Design rapid experiments and prototypes to define MVPs and reduce product risk.
• Analyze usage data and customer feedback after launch, leading go/no-go decisions on scaling or pivoting.
• Own the strategic roadmap, North Star metrics, prioritization, and trade-offs across engineering, design, and business constraints.
• Lead cross-functional squads of engineers, designers, and data scientists without direct line management.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance on pricing, positioning, and unit economics.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, including ideally 3+ years in 0-to-1 product development, startup environments, or founding PM roles.
• Experience ideally in B2B SaaS or regulated industries such as FinTech, HRTech, or Healthcare.
• Expert understanding of Lean Startup methodology, experiment design, and data instrumentation.
• Ability to understand technical architectures, evaluate trade-offs, and participate in system architecture, product design, and software development discussions.
• Ability to understand AI/ML capabilities, limitations, data requirements, frontier LLMs, and rule-based alternatives.
• Strong communication, storytelling, influence, and executive stakeholder alignment skills.
