Senior Product Manager, Internal AI & Automation

Location: Remote for U.S.-based employees

Salary: $140,000–$210,000 annual base salary.

The role is offered through hirify.global on behalf of a partner company building a new internal AI and automation function for an organization serving the education sector.

What you will do

• Lead discovery across business functions to identify high-value workflows for AI and automation.
• Own internal AI products from problem definition and prototyping through launch, optimization, and adoption.
• Build initial solutions independently with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, no-code, low-code, and workflow automation tools.
• Partner with an AI Operations Engineer to turn successful prototypes into reliable, scalable production tools.
• Redesign operational workflows and define success metrics, rollout strategies, usage playbooks, and adoption targets.
• Manage the automation opportunity backlog and communicate roadmap priorities, progress, outcomes, and tradeoffs to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of product management experience, including building and launching products or internal tools.
• Hands-on experience creating AI tools, automation workflows, agents, or internal products from concept to functional first version.
• Practical knowledge of LLM capabilities, prompting, agent behavior, evaluation, reliability, and human–AI collaboration.
• Technical fluency with LLM APIs, agent frameworks, workflow automation platforms, and modern AI tooling.
• Strong systems thinking, product judgment, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering measurable business outcomes, adoption, efficiency gains, or operational improvements.

Nice to have

• Experience with Claude or OpenAI APIs, n8n, Glean, Snowflake, Gong, Intercom, Salesforce, or comparable tools.
• Experience deploying AI agents or automation in operational environments.
• Familiarity with B2B SaaS operations and efficiency and scaling levers.
